The UK Omicron wave has seen way more cases but much fewer deaths than previous waves.
Former UK vaccine taskforce head, Dr. Clive Dix, has said mass-vaccination should end after the booster campaign.
Omicron is milder than other variants and cases have already peaked, so it's time for the UK to set an example and start managing the disease more like seasonal flu.
It's too early to start 'living with COVID'. Reduced public health intervention at this critical time would risk greater hospitalizations and even more pressure on the NHS.
