Through three months of war, the Israeli military operation has failed to either destroy Hamas or free the remainder of the 240 Israelis taken hostage on Oct. 7. Furthermore, the incessant bombings have turned the tables and deepened Israel's global isolation. The US must find a way to stop the bloodshed and push Israel to halt its campaign in the Palestinian enclave.

Netanyahu will never bow in the face of international pressure to end the war, not until Hamas is eliminated and innocent Israeli hostages are released. The IDF is on the verge of severely degrading Hamas' military capabilities as it begins a new phase of its military operation in Gaza. Just as a sovereign country like the US shouldn't be pressured into surrendering to terrorism, nor should Israel.
