The Spin

Left narrative

The Epping injunction shamefully capitulates to far-right fear-mongering, punishing vulnerable asylum seekers for one individual's actions. This decision emboldens racists nationwide while ignoring that most crimes against women are by known perpetrators, not strangers. It's pure scapegoating of desperate people fleeing wars Britain's own foreign policy helped create.

Right narrative

This is a victory for common sense. Local residents shouldn't have to fight their own government just to feel safe in their neighborhoods. Protesters were right to demand protection from an asylum system that houses unvetted criminals next to families. Communities across Britain are finally standing up to failed policies that prioritize ideology over safety.
