This Florida legislation doesn't conflict with federal laws but rather fills gaps where federal enforcement is lacking. Democratic narrative
This is a welcome decision that unquestionably gives the correct response to shameless anti-immigration leaders such as Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis. Immigration policy and enforcement have long been a matter of exclusively federal authority, so states must refrain from trying to regulate who enters or remains in the country.
