The Spin

Narrative A

This whole situation shows how a private moment between consenting adults has been blown completely out of proportion by the social media mob mentality. The company's delayed response was reasonable given the need to conduct proper due diligence before making hasty decisions that could destroy careers over what might be nothing more than an innocent embrace between colleagues.

Narrative B

Corporate leaders must be held to higher standards of conduct, especially when it involves potential workplace relationships that could create conflicts of interest or hostile work environments. The viral nature of this incident exposed what appears to be inappropriate behavior that warranted immediate investigation and action.
