The Spin

Republican narrative

Vance brilliantly exposed Stephanopoulos for pushing fake news about Tom Homan while ignoring real crises like the Democrat-caused government shutdown. The media obsesses over bogus bribery claims with zero evidence while troops go unpaid and low-income families can't get food. Stephanopoulos failed so miserably that he cut to a commercial to avoid defending his biased priorities.

Democratic narrative

Vance completely dodged basic questions about Tom Homan accepting $50,000 in cash on FBI surveillance tape, offering only word salad deflections. When pressed for straight answers about documented bribery allegations, Vance spun conspiracy theories about media bias. Stephanopoulos had to cut the interview short because Vance was deliberately wasting his time.
