Version 7.18.3
Justice for trafficking survivors can't depend on a DOJ shielding the very person under scrutiny. Shutting down probes, burying evidence under redactions and rewarding a convicted trafficker with cushy accommodations reeks of a cover-up. An independent special counsel is the only path to a fair, serious reckoning for survivors.
Dropping a bad-faith file right before voters head to the polls has nothing to do with justice for victims and everything to do with scoring political points. Recycled accusations without a single charge attached amount to an election-season stunt. Voters have seen this script run too many times to fall for another round.
