Storytelling now belongs to everyone, not just studios with nine-figure budgets and gatekeepers deciding whose vision gets made. A tool that lets an ordinary person build a 15-minute epic out of pure imagination is the biggest creative step in a century. Criticism from the old guard sounds an awful lot like fear of losing a monopoly.
Airbrushed visuals, glitchy movement and nonsense pacing prove a machine still has no clue what actually moves people. Promising a historically accurate epic and then fumbling the source material's basics exposes the whole thing as a vanity stunt. Human craft still delivers, which is why the director-made version of 'The Odyssey' earned billions and widespread acclaim.
