Version 7.18.3
Houthi attacks on civilian aviation and critical energy infrastructure constitute terrorism. Iran-backed coercion shifts Yemen’s war onto innocent travelers, ordinary workers and global commerce while exploiting Saudi Arabia’s vast defensive burden. Riyadh has every right to protect its civilian population and keep vital transport and energy systems running safely and without disruption.
Saudi Arabia cannot bomb and blockade Yemen for years, then turn around and call the backlash unprovoked aggression. Ansarullah’s pressure on Saudi military and oil capacity is a defensible response to a one-sided war that has devastated countless Yemeni lives and shattered much of the country's infrastructure. Real and lasting peace starts with an end to Saudi airstrikes and crippling restrictions on Yemen.
