The Spin

Pro-Israel narrative

The Israeli prime minister spoke with troops operating in southern Lebanon who shared details of impressive results and how they are imposing crushing defeats on Hezbollah, upholding Israel's security. These troops are the pride of Israel and must continue to press on until Hezbollah no longer poses a threat.

Anti-Israel narrative

While Hezbollah is not blameless, Israel's invasion of southern Lebanon goes way beyond international law. In a matter of months, thousands have been killed and many more have been injured. Meanwhile, millions have been displaced and will have no homes to return to. Deploying the same tactics adopted in Gaza, dozens of towns were reduced to rubble.
