Version 7.18.3
A privacy company that pushes engineers to ship AI-written code faster than anyone can review it is burning the only asset people love about them, which is trust. Treating a request for extra testing time as weakness is how security bugs end up inside products sold as safe havens from surveillance. Forcing staff to prove AI enthusiasm or risk employment builds a culture of fear, not better software.
Refusing to touch AI is how a small privacy company gets steamrolled by the surveillance giants. Checking whether every team can actually use these tools with good judgment, and publishing the whole memo instead of quietly trimming headcount, is completely normal, honest management. Someone has to build privacy-first AI, or the future belongs to firms that treat users as product.
