Federal agents and local police have been caught on camera firing rubber bullets at journalists, pepper-spraying children and deploying stun grenades at unarmed protesters hundreds of times across 13 states. This is a systematic crackdown on First Amendment rights, and DHS is responsible for nearly two-thirds of the abuse. Head shots, close-range chemical sprays and 19 traumatic brain injuries don't happen by accident, so the government must be forced to change its policy.

Demonizing ICE makes for viral primary politics but doesn't match up with broader public sentiment, as polls consistently show voters back Trump's enforcement approach over open-border chaos by wide margins. Immigration enforcement is dangerous, thankless work, and agents putting their lives on the line deserve support, not vilification. Where local authorities cooperated with ICE, operations went smoothly — the chaos happened where politicians chose confrontation over law and order.
