Version 7.18.2
An unsolved killing in a Ugandan village with no identified suspects and no established motive is hardly proof of an elaborate cross-border plot. The man at the center was a fugitive wanted over the defilement of a minor and had previously been picked up in Kampala over gun-smuggling allegations. Bringing Formula One back to Africa after decades away deserves genuine celebration rather than politically driven suspicion.
A dissident who begged for protection ends up headless outside Kampala, and the continued silence from Kigali speaks volumes. Buying a decade of Formula One glamour and international prestige doesn't scrub away a long record of dead exiles and bloodshed across the border in Congo. Speaking out against Kagame shouldn't amount to a death sentence, no matter which country offers refuge or promises protection.
