Version 7.18.3
Pointing fingers at Addis Ababa is a convenient way to dodge the fact that Khartoum has been cozying up to armed groups tearing at Ethiopia's north. Unverified accusations, flatly denied by both Addis Ababa and Abu Dhabi, come cheap in a region where nearly every government is arming somebody. Escalating this blame game without credible evidence risks deepening regional tensions and setting the whole Horn of Africa alight.
Blasting power stations, hospitals and fuel depots is a deliberate campaign to starve civilians out and block any chance of returning home. Renting out airfields to a militia, with Gulf money bankrolling the drones, turns someone else's civil war into outright aggression against a sovereign neighbor. Security Council silence in the face of such attacks only guarantees more destruction, the next blackout and the next massacre.
