Barring reporters who broke stories on Farage's finances while waving the free speech banner exposes Reform's rhetoric as a shield against accountability rather than any meaningful poliitical position. A party this thin-skinned about scrutiny has no business lecturing anyone about open debate and should never be trusted.

Barring a handful of "journalists" while credentialing over 1,000 others is hardly an assault on democracy. Reporters who function as partisan activists pursuing a predetermined narrative rather than genuine journalism shouldn't be surprised when a political organization exercises its right to decide who enters its own conference.
