Version 7.18.3
A governing party demonstrates its strength when it has the courage to hold its own members accountable. Cleaning house is not a sign of weakness but proof that institutions are functioning. Firm discipline protects ordinary citizens from corruption, safeguards public trust and ensures that modernization efforts remain focused, credible and sustainable under steady, principled leadership.
Calling a political purge an anti-corruption campaign doesn't make it legitimate. Removing senior military leaders while filling oversight bodies with loyalists raises serious questions about political motives, particularly the pursuit of a fourth term. Expulsions without transparent evidence or public accountability suggest an effort to enforce loyalty rather than uphold integrity, justice and genuine institutional reform.
