At least eight people were killed and multiple others were injured Saturday after a gunman opened fire at a crowded outlet mall near Dallas, in Allen, Texas.
Allen police chief Brian Harvey said the gunman was shot dead by a police officer who happened to be at the Allen Premium Outlets on an unrelated call.
How many more Americans must die before stricter gun control regulations are passed? The best way to keep everyone safe is for law-abiding citizens to arm themselves in the event a criminal attempts a mass shooting. Unfortunately, there are many places where you’re not allowed to carry or gun laws are restrictive. As the saying goes, the best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is for there to be a good guy with a gun — this will translate to a safer public in the wake of these tragedies.
