The M/V Trisha Kerstin 3, an inter-island cargo and passenger ferry, sank early Monday near Baluk-baluk Island in Basilan Province, Philippines, after departing from Zamboanga City bound for Jolo Island in Sulu Province. The vessel was carrying 332 passengers and 27 crew members.
