The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Tuesday announced that it recorded 17,180 laboratory-confirmed cyclosporiasis cases acquired in the United States since May 1, spanning 48 states and Washington, D.C., with 922 hospitalizations and two deaths.
